Upon arriving at the Golden Oak Chalet, we were greeted warmly by the owners who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. the highlight for our 1-year-old was undoubtedly the farm animals, which he loved exploring on a daily basis. the chalet itself was spotless and comfortable, with stunning views from the outdoor patio area. One of the reasons we chose this location was its proximity to the Maltings Theatre & Cinema, which was a short drive away and provided us with a fun evening out as a family. We also took a day trip to the Edinburgh Playhouse, which was only 50 km away and offered a fantastic show for both kids and adults. The owners were attentive without being intrusive, offering our 4-year-old the chance to explore the farm and providing him with toys to play with. the location was ideal for accessing local beaches and attractions, making it the perfect base for a family-friendly vacation.
